Bloody Mary of the Month
This month, I’m turning the tables on you. Between Easter, Passover, Daylight Savings Time, and whatever else you’ve been celebrating, I bet you’ve put down a few amazing Bloody Marys recently. Got pictures? I wanna see pictures! Post a photo of the best Bloody you’ve had so far this spring, and a little blurb about where you were, what was in it, and any other details you can share.
I’ll go first.
The last time I visited Austin, Texas, I brought a list of the totally amaze-balls Bloody Marys that have been making headlines all over the interwebs. I was gonna sample every last one, and post pictures for all to see. Well, it turns out that all the bars on the list only make these fabulous creations one day a month, or only for contests, or only when a journalist is around. So I wandered around empty-handed. Until I went to Casino El Camino. They made me this wonderful Bloody Mary during happy hour, on a Thursday – and I’m not even a journalist!
Have you managed to score an award-winning Bloody Mary in your home town, or elsewhere? Do share!
I’ve been following you on Facebook for quite a while now, and I can’t help but notice your posts have gotten much more interesting over the last few months. Where do you find such great content?
I’m glad you’re enjoying the content, and I’m so glad you asked this question. I’d like to introduce you to the person responsible for finding, designing, posting, and monitoring the content you see on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+. And just in time to celebrate International Virtual Assistants Day, which is May 15. I’m proud to present my wonderful assistant, Judith!
Judith started working for me last December. She lives in California with her beautiful family, and she has a strong background in graphic design as well as all things social media. Her talents in these areas are obvious, but she deserves a special medal for putting up with my shifting deadlines, random priorities and embarrassingly small budget. I appreciate her every single day; it’s nice to know you do, too!
Next time you’re on one of the social media platforms, feel free to say hi to her. Just click on one, or all, of the buttons to the right and you’re on your way!
I’m working on something extra-special for you for June. I don’t want to spill all the beans, but it has to do with even more uses for your favorite alcoholic beverages. You won’t want to miss it! In the meantime, I can’t wait to see photographic evidence of your most recent Bloody Mary adventures. You can share below, post them on Facebook, or tweet about them using #bloodymarytattler.
Until next time, salud!
