Do you like a little salad on top of your Bloody Mary? Me too. Trouble is, I get tired of the same old list: olives, pepperoncini, and (yawn) celery. Thank heaven there’s lots of lovely pickled vegetation out there, such as mushrooms, okra, green beans, and asparagus. You could even go the non-vegetable route, such as pepperoni, bacon, cheese, shrimp. But after a while, if you drink as many Bloody Marys as I do, even those little tidbits become trite. That’s why I was so excited to see this jar of pickled green tomatoes. Don’t you just love how one new accessory can completely change your outlook?
