See the Virtual Cocktail Party here!

Thanks to everybody who came out to Portland Spa and Boutique the other night! If you missed it, you missed out. We had music, yummy food, organic airbrush tanning, and of course, lots and lots of Bloody Marys! The version I served is called The Produce Stand, and it was generously contributed by Kara Newman, author of Spice and Ice. It went perfectly with all the freshly bronzed bodies running around. With fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, and lime, you get a mouthful of summer in every sip. Here are some of the comments from partygoers:

“Really tasty; I like the pepper — maybe some more spice!”

“So refreshing and light! Bring on the beach!!”

“Excellent!”

“I typically don’t drink Bloody Marys, but I could drink these all night long!”

I’d like to thank all the fabulous ladies at Portland Spa for helping to make the virtual cocktail party such a success.  Please show some support by stopping by for any one of the dozens of services they offer — including the brand-new organic airbrush tanning facility!

And thanks again to Kara for the recipe (which everyone loved), the adorable coasters, and her PR assistance in getting this thing off the ground in such a short amount of time. I hope to do another collaboration in the coming months!
